The End of the Thread

A free music-theatre production marking 100 years of KKK–AKEL and Cyprus’s Popular Movement.

Η Άκρη της Κλωστής follows Cyprus’s social and political history from the early 20th century to 2026 through the eyes of a Cypriot working-class family. An old chest becomes a place of memory, while a red thread passed from hand to hand symbolises continuity between generations.

Created to mark the centenary of KKK–AKEL and the Popular Movement, the production combines theatre, music, choir and archival projections. It takes place at Strovolos Municipal Theatre on 6 November 2026 at 20:00; doors open at 19:30. Admission is free.
