Windcraft Back: Jazz Workshop with Toms Rudzinskis

A practical workshop on jazz improvisation, ensemble playing and musical interaction at Windcraft Music Centre.

Toms Rudzinskis leads a hands-on jazz workshop for saxophonists and other instrumentalists with at least basic experience. Exercises, repertoire and group playing develop improvisational vocabulary, rhythmic awareness, listening and spontaneous communication within an ensemble.

The workshop also explores fundamental jazz theory and its immediate application in playing, with an emphasis on finding a personal musical voice through collaboration. It is part of Windcraft Back, celebrating ten years of the nonprofit Windcraft Loud.
