About event
Anemona Theatre presents a Greek-language social comedy by Michalis Reppas and Thanasis Papathanasiou, directed by Marinos Xenofontos.
Thessaloniki, 1943, under German occupation. Two childless couples share a requisitioned former café and pastry shop, struggling with hunger and fear while longing for a baby. Their fragile balance changes when a Jewish fugitive who escaped Auschwitz arrives seeking shelter.
Anemona Theatre presents a story of solidarity, love and hope in which drama and comedy meet.
